Raptor launches the fastest EMCCD on the market

Raptor Photonics has launched a new EMCCD camera, the Kestrel 1000, offering ultra-low readout noise while running at 1,000 frames per second (fps) in full frame and up to 1,800 fps with ROI. The camera has a 128 x 128 back-thinned sensor with 26um pixels for optimum image resolution in low light imaging applications. It runs in 16-bit Camera Link output for realtime imaging for low latency photon to digital image and offers up to 95% QE
